Returning Students with old ITS Software on their Computers

If you installed UT printing software on your computer before August 2007, and it requires you to log in with an IF account, you will need to uninstall this old ITS Remote Printing Software and delete the McCombs printers from your computer before you can install the new ITS Printing Software. Click the link for instructions on how to Uninstall Printing Software.


Install ITS Printing Software and Printers

If you are a returning student, please read the Returning Students section above first.

Install the Millennium Lab and Reliant Productivity Center printers.

  1. Go to www.utexas.edu/its/printing.
  2. Click the Download Installers tab.
  3. Read through the Software Usage Statement and click Agree.
  4. In the Selecting Your Platform section, select the operating system you use and click Go.
  5. In the Choosing a Printing Location section, find McCombs School of Business in the list and click Download.
  6. Select Save.
  7. Navigate to the place on your computer you want to save the file, and click Save.
  8. Click Close.
  9. Double-click on the Installer file to open it.
  10. If asked, click Run or Allow as needed.
  11. Click Install.
  12. Wait for the installer to finish running.
  13. Click Finish.


Install the Carpenter Leadership Center printer.
This printer is only for MBAs.

  1. Go to www.utexas.edu/its/printing.
  2. Click the Download Installers link on the left.
  3. Read through the Software Usage Statement and click Agree.
  4. In the Selecting Your Platform section, select the operating system you use and click Go.
  5. In the Choosing a Printing Location section, find McCombs School of Business Carpenter Leadership Center in the list and click Download.
  6. Select Save.
  7. Navigate to the place on your computer you want to save the file, and click Save.
  8. Click Close.
  9. Double-click on the Installer file to open it.
  10. If asked, click Run or Allow as needed.
  11. Click Install.
  12. Wait for the installer to finish running.
  13. Click Finish.
