Uninstall Printing Software

Returning students will need to uninstall the old ITS Remote Printing software and remove any UT printers from their computer before they install the new printing software.

Remove printing software

1. Go to Start > Control Panel.
2. If you don’t see a white background with a group of icons, click Switch to Classic View on the left.
3. Double click on Add or Remove Programs.
4. Select ITS Remote Printing for Windows.
5. Click Change/Remove.
6. When asked to confirm that you want to remove it, click OK.
7. Click Finish.
8. Close the Add or Remove Programs window.
9. Close the Control Panel.

Remove the Printers

1. Go to Start > Printers and Faxes.
2. Right click on a McCombs Printer and select Delete.
3. Click Yes to confirm that you want to delete the printer.
4. Repeat for the rest of the McCombs and UT printers.

Once you have uninstalled the printing software and removed the printers, you can install ITS Printing Software and printers.
