Virtual Private Network
From McCombs Wiki
Contents |
To connect to any University Internet resource that does not use an Internet browser, you need to establish a secure connection. Among these resources are your McCombs network storage drive (H: drive), your McCombs website, and your McCombs mailbox when connecting through Outlook. You can use the University's Virtual Private Network (VPN) software to establish a secure connection.
For complete information about the VPN software and for troubleshooting help, go to the ITS VPN website.

Troubleshooting VPN
VPN is run and controlled by ITS. If you are having problems with VPN, you can start by going to the ITS VPN website.
If you cannot find an answer to your question there, contact the ITS Help Desk.
Occasionally, if VPN is not working, uninstalling, and reinstalling it will fix the problem.
If you appear to have a connection through VPN, but still cannot use the secure service that requires a VPN connection, then try terminating your connection, and then reconnecting.
